Maximise Sport was approached to take over management of the The OVD Junior Cup in 2002/03. OVD were then in their 15th year of support of The Scottish Junior Cup. Our role was to re-establish and re-energise the sponsorship. Our focus was to reach a wider audience than those following Junior Football and position OVD as a credible football brand.
Maximise Sport built strategic alliances with key media, generating positive coverage about Junior Football in general, whilst creating interest and excitement around the OVD Junior Cup itself. PARA BREAK
Working with the brand team at First Drinks Brands, Maximise Sport consistently outperformed in all targeted KPI’s. This led to an increase in awareness and growth in media coverage, particularly at the live TV broadcast of the Final.
